Wild Wonders: Animal Kingdom — Our New Album Drops August 14!
Our second full album, Wild Wonders: Animal Kingdom, drops everywhere on August 14! Ten songs, nine creatures, one mission: give every animal — misunderstood or not — its own moment to shine.
How It Started
This whole album traces back to one song. "Born to Strike" — our tiger track and the very first wild animal song we wrote — was made in memory of Menderu, a tiger at our local zoo who passed away. We wanted to celebrate him with something that captured just how singular tigers are: no two stripe patterns are ever the same, just like no two of us are the same. That's why Born to Strike opens the album — everything else on Wild Wonders grew out of that first song.
From there, the concept clicked: one song per major animal group, each one built to correct a misconception or reveal something wild kids (and parents) probably didn't know. Sharks that are gentle giants. Octopuses with three hearts and blue blood. A ladybug that's secretly a beetle and a garden's best friend. A jumping spider with eight eyes and zero reason to be scary.
Our turtle song, "Shell Life," actually came even before the album took shape — we first put it out on YouTube for World Turtle Day, long before we knew it'd end up closing out the reptile slot on a whole album. Turtles have been rocking their shells for 200 million years, so it only felt right to give them a permanent home here.

That last one, "Misunderstood," ties the whole thing together, because the whole point of Wild Wonders is that nothing in the wild is a villain. Everything's just trying to get by.
